R: K has taken up running again and we are trying to compete on mileage. I worked out I did 2.8 miles walking my daughter to school for the first time yesterday…. Today I took the car.
K: I walked 6.2 miles into Islington and back which makes me more than doubly better than R.
R: Did I say 2.8 when I should have said 28.0?
K: No wonder you had trouble getting your daughter into the school.
R: What do you mean? That’s the catchment area in these rural locations.
K: As well as working on my health I am also improving my speed typing with one finger and holding the phone to my ear.
R: What’s your wpm?
K: Hang on slow down….

Ever thought about using a pedometer.
You could update each other on an hourly basis, send texts (another opportunity to increase your wpm)

K: I have been giving this suggestion some serious thought and it has led me to assess the whole nature of our competitive relationship….must speak to R about my theory.
